Front thermopanels: main types (20 photos)

Exterior decoration of the house is an important stage of construction or repair, modern materials and technologies allow parallel to qualitatively warm the building. Ventilated facades are widespread, but vinyl siding, porcelain stoneware and various panel materials used for decorating are far from being suitable for all property owners.

High-quality facing brick or decorative plaster with marble chips give particular monumentality to any building. Two-layer and three-layer systems using these materials are distinguished by the complexity of installation and high price, long-term work performed. This was the reason for the emergence of such an original material as facade thermopanels for exterior finishes based on polyurethane foam and polystyrene foam.

In Western Europe, clinker brick is the main material for cladding facades of buildings. The houses of it are more than 200 years old and do not require repairs due to the excellent clinker performance. It has high strength, resistance to temperature extremes and severe frosts, it does not absorb water or engine oil. The only disadvantage for the domestic consumer is the high price of clinker bricks, which are produced using special grades of clay and high-temperature firing technology. A great alternative to this finishing material was a clinker facing tile. It has a more affordable cost, but it does not differ in appearance from the brick.

The only problem is the relatively difficult installation of tiles - requires a smooth base, special glue, highly skilled craftsman. All these nuances were eliminated by developing facade panels for bricks based on clinker tiles. Their production is not difficult: in special forms, tiles are laid out, the formed seams are filled with quartz sand, and then everything is poured with polyurethane foam. This insulation has a low coefficient of thermal conductivity, so its thickness in the panel rarely exceeds 40-60 mm.

Thermopanels for bricks have an area of about 0.5 square meters, this facilitates the installation and transportation of facade material. In the manufacture of used clinker tiles of leading German, Polish and domestic manufacturers. This allows you to choose the material that best meets the requirements of designers and the budget produced by the facade work.

The disadvantages of finishing facade thermopanels include the high cost of the material. On the other hand, to compare them with siding or plastic panels, decorative plaster is simply unethical! The competitors of the front panels with clinker tiles are clinker bricks, natural stone, high-quality ceramic bricks. Their cost is much higher, and for carrying out facing works it is necessary to invite highly skilled craftsmen. The cost of their services may exceed the cost of lining thermopanels several times.

Brick is a classic finishing material of the facades of buildings of various purposes. He has not only fans, but also opponents - some dream to veneer the house with decorative plaster under stone or wood, others with marble or travertine. Working with these materials is complex, it requires careful preparation of surfaces, professional skills and a lot of experience. Compromise can serve as a facade thermopanels with marble chips based on polystyrene foam.

This front material is a base of rigid insulation, on the front side of which marble crumb is applied. It can have any texture, for example, thermopanels under a tree are very popular.

The panels are connected to the castle, so there are no cold bridges. The surface is protected by polymeric compounds from scattering, burnout and negative climatic factors.

The panels are fixed to the walls of the house with the help of inexpensive adhesives, this work does not require highly skilled craftsmen. On the exterior of the house with the help of this material takes 2-3 days. Among the other advantages of thermal panels with marble chips worth highlighting:

  • wide color range;
  • high heat and sound insulation characteristics;
  • minimum load on the building foundation and load-bearing walls;
  • reducing the cost of insulation and home decoration.

Thermopanels can be used for cladding walls made of brick, aerated concrete, foam concrete, wood, concrete panels. They have an affordable cost, do not require large expenses during transportation and storage.

Scope of use of thermopanels

All types of thermopanels are used for high-quality facades. The presence of additional and angular elements allows you to effectively complete projects of any complexity. Where are relevant facades for plaster or brick? It can be private cottages, country houses, townhouses and municipal high-rise buildings. Lined with thermopanels, they will stand out against the general background, not only by their appearance, but also by their thermal performance and, as a result, high comfort.

High quality of coating and durability makes thermopanels the best material for finishing the facades of shops, shopping centers, sports complexes, business centers, administrative and office buildings. The environmental friendliness of this product allows it to be used in suburban construction: in the construction of holiday homes, medical and pre-school institutions. Commercial real estate, trimmed with thermopanels, will attract the attention of potential customers. Facade material will give the necessary respectability and solidity that will be appreciated by business partners.

During the lining of the thermopanels, metal profiles are not used - the number of fasteners is minimal. This allows you to get rid of cold bridges, which makes the material the best choice when implementing projects for weatherization of old buildings. In the design of the panels themselves there is also no metal, which reduces their weight and improves the thermal conductivity coefficient.
